The project involved the renewal of the existing district heating mains pipework and associated works on the Brimmington Estate. Approximately 1100m of pipework was renewed running from the boiler house to each of the secondary plant rooms. The new underground pipework was pre-insulated steel with leak detection. The works covered 27 blocks and over 1,500 flats.
