Euston Fire Station

Project Works: Heating and Hot water Service Upgrade.

Heating

• De-commissioning of the existing gas boilers
• Installation of 4 no Daikin ASHP’s  44.89 kw each, and thermal store
• Upgrade of heating system from 2 zone to 4 zone system control
• Trend BMS controls installed and added to the LFB remote central monitoring strategy
• All radiators and associated pipe work replaced.

 Hot & Cold water services

Installation of the following:

• CAT 5 break tank and booster set

• Adveco FPi32 12kw ASHP
• 24 kw Adveco Electric boiler
• Adveco 470 litre water cylinder with 6kw backup emersion heater
• New hot and cold distribution to all existing outlets

This exciting project is being delivered within one of London’s busiest fire stations. Key to success of the project is keeping services running, with no down time, due to the nature of the work. This has been achieved by phasing the works program and controlling individual zones during switch over.
