We are delighted to have sponsored the Young person of the year award at the Lewisham Homes Residents Awards 2022. Our Director Natalie Oldfield attended and presented the award to the winner, James Osman.
“Jamie, like many young carers, has made many, many sacrifices in order to help out at home. He compromised his own needs to support his family and subsequently did not go on to higher education or into paid employment like many of his peers. Jamie’s contribution to the wider society, however, should not be underestimated. The help he provides as a voluntary unpaid carer has been invaluable; he works incredibly hard dealing with complex issues. He shows immense strength of character.“
